We are Faces 4 Change (F4C), a Youth Popular Culture Institute Drug Free Community & Comprehensive Addiction & Recovery Act Coalition working to establish and strengthen collaborations and partnerships among communities, non-profits, & governments to prevent & reduce substance use among youth. Youth Popular Culture Institute, Inc. (YPCI) is our Business Official, and together, we address the factors that increase the risk of substance abuse and promote the factors that minimize these risks. Recognizing our Faces 4 Change Project Director, Dr. P. Thandi Hicks Harper, and her incredible accomplishments.
Dr. Harper has been a pioneering scholar and practitioner at the intersection of Hip-Hop, education, and youth development, helping shape innovative approaches to positive youth engagement, learning, and wellness.
Her groundbreaking work includes developing theoretical frameworks, evidence-based prevention curricula, and producing research that connects culture, education, and community impact.
We are proud to celebrate her leadership, vision, and lifelong commitment to empowering young people and advancing knowledge through culture.

We organize and create opportunities for connecting people, organizations and resources that support our overall mission to successfully engage youth, families and communities in order to ensure safe and thriving neighborhoods.
We work with Community Collaborators, Sector Members and all Residents to share knowledge, disseminate information and to implement action plans that serve to inform City and County populations about what is available for living healthy and drug-free lifestyles.
We believe in youth-led and adult-guided strategies for intrinsically motivating youth to choose healthy lifestyles. We work with youth and highlight their gifts by providing opportunities and allowing them to lead.
